🎤 [Exclusive Interview: Rumi’s Family Secret]

Interviewer: Rumi, one of the things fans are most curious about is your childhood and your parents. Could you share that story with us?

Rumi: (smiles softly) My family story is… a little unusual. It’s not directly shown in the movie, but my very existence comes from the union of two worlds.

Interviewer: Two worlds?

Rumi: My father was a Guima(Demon) — a spirit of darkness. But he was different from the others. Even in endless shadows, he longed for the warmth of humanity, and eventually stepped into the human world. That’s where he met my mother.

Interviewer: And your mother was a hunter, right?

Rumi: Yes. (nods) My mother was one of the strongest hunters. She defeated countless Guima(Demon), but she said my father was unlike any of them.
At first, they were enemies. But my father once told her:

Father: “I didn’t come here to fight. I came… to protect you.”
Mother: “That doesn’t change the fact that you’re a Guima. Why try to deceive me?”
Father: “I’m not deceiving you. In your eyes, for the first time… I saw hope, not fear.”

At first, my mother refused to believe him. But over time, she realized he truly was different. He didn’t seek destruction — he sought to protect. And slowly, love grew between them.

Interviewer: Sounds like a forbidden love.

Rumi: Exactly. Their love was dangerous, always on the edge. But still, they chose each other. And from that choice… I was born.

Interviewer: What does their love mean to you?

Rumi: It’s both my strength and my destiny. My father taught me hope through music, and my mother taught me how to protect that hope in reality.
In the end, I became someone who trusts and relies on others, just like my mother. Even the way I trust Jinwoo now… maybe that’s me walking in her footsteps.

Interviewer: The daughter of a Demon and a hunter — and now the leader of HUNTR/X. That’s incredible.

Rumi: (smiles) I carry both of their legacies within me. From my father, the belief that even darkness can choose a different path. From my mother, the courage to keep believing to the end.
That’s what shaped me — and it’s the promise I will carry on, whether on stage or in battle.
